In vucavoid, you can add two types of capabilities: Core and Support. These capabilities are crucial for effective meta modeling and describe the skillset of your organization. They play a vital role in ensuring compliance and safeguarding your organization's skillset in a compliant manner. Additionally, capabilities in vucavoid are linked to other organizational assets, allowing for a comprehensive and interconnected system.

Attributes of Capabilities

Capability Basics

  • Title: A concise title to describe the capability.
  • Description: Detailed description of the organizational skill.

Capability Ownership

  • Owner: Assign an owner from vucavoid user accounts.
  • Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Define one or multiple SMEs. Users in this role can serve as assessors in challenges related to this capability.

Capability Characteristics

  • Type: Choose between "Core" and "Support". This classification depends on what you consider essential for your organization.
  • Business Criticality: Select from four levels – Essential, High, Medium, and Low. This indicates the importance of the capability to your organization.
  • Status: The default status is "Active". The status can be set once an asset is initiated.
